How are we still paying for water in Bacolod when it’s basically dirty or non existent?

Rant/Vent 😭

I’m a Bacolodnon but I’m usually based in Manila or travel alot domestically or internationally.

Whenever I’m in Manila or a different country, wala gid ko issue sa skin.

Everytime I’m home in Bacolod, always gid ka higko sang tubig. Kung indi instant iced tea color, and iya “clean version” is still light brown with alot of dirt/silt that you can actually see and have to wash off of your buckets, dishes, etc.

Always lang gid ko may skin problems diri sa Bacolod because of the water supply. 2 mins into the shower, ga katol na akon skin and gaka tubuan rashes and acne. Kinanlanon mineral water ang ligo para wala skin problems.

Over the past year, I’ve gone to countless dermatologists and doctors, spent so much on treatments and medication—only to realize the root cause is the water itself.

How is the water supply in your area? Amo man?

My question is, wala na gid ta may mahimo sini?

I’ve seen Facebook Groups like “Amlig Tubig-Bacolod” being vocal about this issue.

Is there anything else we can do to get this sorted out? Daw wala man ni labot mga LGU naton diri.
