Wemy would be so dominant if he had the sky hook.

It's pretty amazing that almost no one has brought the skyhook back. But if there's one player in today's NBA who should add it to his game, it's Wemy. The biggest advantage is that it lets him dominate the paint without having to play like a traditional bruiser. Realistically, he's probably never going to overpower defenders with sheer strength the way Shaq did, and that's perfectly fine. With his frame, constantly banging bodies in the post would just wear him down over the course of a season and risk injury. The skyhook would be the perfect weapon for him. At his height and with his ridiculous wingspan, it would be nearly impossible to contest. He could score efficiently around the basket while taking less punishment, and defenders would have very few answers once he gets to his spots. He could become the most unstoppable post scorer since Shaq maybe.
