how do i motivate myself to play my guitar

i got my first electric about 1 year ago and when i got it i played a lot but now i am, to lazy and unmotivated. i can play a lot of riffs but i know i would have been able to play even more if i practiced consistently. how do i make playing fun and not give up when i struggle with playing?

(i have a Stratocaster) i wanted to get a Jackson but my parents said no.😐
