Moved offices in January, returning to the same location in September where my ex still works. We haven’t talked since I left except once in June when I thought to wish him birthday and he said a plain thank you. I decided I should be more strict towards myself to not speak to him. I am not very keen anymore to face him, say hello to him or to see him wandering in the office. I worked hard to control my emotions towards him while being away and I don’t want to circle back being miserable again. He also never showed signs that he misses me, never messaged me to know my well being. Distance brings people closer but it proved that he doesn’t really want my presence.

Chart is Leo rising. Sun (me, querent) at 5° Leo, in the 12th house with Jupiter. His significator = Saturn (7th house ruler), 14° Aries Rx, in the 8th.

Sun applies to a trine with Saturn hence no hard aspects between us, so avoidance doesn’t read strongly.

Saturn is in its Fall in Aries and retrograde, weak, inward, hesitant. Reads as him being stuck/unsure rather than resistant.

Reception: Aries is the Sun’s exaltation, so Saturn “receives” the Sun well. One-directional warmth toward me, but I don’t reciprocally receive him.

Moon is void of course, in the 6th (workplace). Nothing happens on its own; no outside push forcing a meeting. Moon is also opposite Sun, my emotions could again very well go against my strictness to avoid him.

Reading**:** feels like mutual goodwill underneath, but he’s unlikely to make the first move given his placement. Doesn’t seem like straight-up avoidance though. I think neither him nor I want to speak to each other and would avoid at every opportunity.

Curious what more experienced horary folks see here, am I missing anything, or reading the reception/retrograde right? Thanks.

Does he want to see me/talk to me, or avoid me?
