Need advice: Breakup after toxic cycle, boundary issues, and final block. Is it completely over?
Hey everyone, I need an objective perspective on my recent situation with a girl I was involved with. Here is the summary of what happened:
Late May: We had a severe fallout where things escalated, words were spoken, and I lost my temper/used harsh slurs.
Mid–Late June: We tried talking again around June 13, but on June 21, I pressed her for clarity in a rude way. She got overwhelmed and repeatedly told me, "bhul jao mujhe" (forget me).
Late June – Early July: I gave her space, then started sending reels and messages. She mostly left them on seen or ignored them.
Mid-July: We had a brief 2–3 day period where we talked normally (July 14–16). But on July 17, she blocked me across all platforms.
Yesterday (July 28): After being blocked on calls, I saw I wasn't blocked on Snapchat and sent a friend request with a message: "I know things haven't been good, but I felt we could communicate calmly with no pressure. Just call whenever convenient."
The Result: She accepted the request within 3 minutes, replied with a cold "theek hai" (okay), and immediately unfriended me again. She hasn't called or reached out since.
My Current Mindset:
I’m struggling to accept that it’s over. Part of me wonders if she's testing me or doing "no contact" as revenge (since I once went silent for 2 months in the past), or if this is her absolute final boundary.
How should I interpret her brief reply and immediate unfriend? Is there any point in waiting, or do I just cut my losses and move on completely?
