My boyfriend doesn’t like poppers…

I was just having a conversation and communicating with my boyfriend today.
I was a little bit complaining about how he reacts with me using poppers during sex.

He said,”I would like it if you don’t use poppers during sex because it gives me headache.”
He once even said straight “No” when I asked for it. (Because is his)

I’m the bottom and I told him “it made me feel better and easier during sex.” But he still prefers me to not use it. I don’t use it most of the time we have sex and we usually have sex like twice a week maybe.

But when he goes out to parties where there’s a dancer floor or dancing is happening for sure, he takes the poppers bottle with him to use it on the dance floor. He even uses ecstasy sometimes during parties. But I never said to him not to use drugs.

We were having a conversation about this and he said he still wants me not to use it, preferably.

Not sure what to say to him for discussion.
What do you think I should say or how to communicate?
