TRWBA/Teacher NZ IQA to Australia
I’ve been planning to migrate as a teacher in Australia but I failed to get superior points to be able to have minimum points (currently 55 points lang proficient English) for 189/190/491. Gave IELTS twice plus EOR but still failed to get 8-7-7-8 requirement for AITSL. I almost wanted to give up this OZ migration plan.
Since I already have overall band 8 score (9-9-7.5-7.5), I can do the NZ pathway then try Australia 482/AITSL using Trans-Mutual recognition instead. I have my documents ready but haven't submitted them for the NZQA assessment. Now questions:
-
What’s the hiring situation now in NZ, especially for teachers? According to a lot of posts and comments in a facebook group I joined, it’s difficult to secure a teaching job since saturated na daw po and not all schools are accredited to hire overseas. I just want to try my luck po sana whether NZ or AU.

In case I continue my OZ goal, how feasible it is? I know 482 is not points based so maybe this is my only chance. My qualifications is in BEED-SPED with MA in ECE but most of my experiences are in preschool. Do they have more employer sponsorship in OZ?
-
Is the minimum points for 491 visa 65? Or can it include the extra 15 points from the invitation? I haven’t researched about this.

Has anyone done the TRBWA exceptional circumstance directly from offshore? I was considering this instead of doing the NZ pathway however I don’t even know if it is actually feasible. I head some Filipinos had done it but tipid sila magshare ng details. I can supply most of the evidences except sa schooling na MOI is in English. Also I heard, this process might take months din.
