My Manager Career Path so Far!

Journeyman Career

I started at SC Heerenveen (team with Hearts on their kits in Eredivise)

With their small budget I spent it mostly on Scouts to build my Youth Academy and the rest on loans. I was able to finish in 3rd place my first season and qualified for Europa League. First time they qualify for European Tournament in 15 years.

In our second season and being in Europa League we were KO in the QF against Chelsea. I developed a Van Persie like striker named (Van Bommel) scoring 45 goals All comps in the second season and sold him to Aston Villa for $65m ( Used that money to bring in decent quality players to fill in gaps that were needed on the squad especially in defense. That season we finished in 3rd again in the League and were granted Europa league for our 3rd season.

3rd Season was rough. We lost our main striker and it took a toll on the team with little to no goal creation up front ( our academy produced decent players but no one got above 10 goals that season) We got KO in RD16 in the Europa league and stood in 8th in the league which lead to our sacking. ( Was actually shocked)

2nd half of 3rd Season : I was luckily offered the job at Werder Bremen who had been relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga and were sitting in 4th place with 12 games left in the season and 11 points behind 2nd. We end up crawling our way and going undefeated the rest of the season and finished in 2nd! ( 8w 4D) . We automatically go back up to the Bundesliga.

4th Season: With the small budget we had, I decided to bring in a couple of Free Agent players to bolster the squad and our star signing that season was no other than Armando Gonzalez who we picked up as FA and would lead Werder Bremen to an amazing 7th place with what some would call a mediocre squad of aging players and youth players with alot to prove. Gonzalez would win player of the season with 34 goals in the Bundesliga. We also went deep in the DFB Pokal losing in the Final to Bayern Leverkusen. (It really bummed me out since it was our best opportunity to qualify for a European spot)

5th Season: Started with a decent transfer budget $40M. I was able to bring in Leif from Ipswich on a free to fill up our weak LB slot and spent $35m on Paul Wanner from PSV who would be our creator for the foreseeable future and produce with Gonzalez. -- That season my goal was to really try to qualify for Europe I would even be happy with a spot in the Conference league. Yet again, Gonzalez did no disappoint having a 50 goal contributions the entire season it put him in strong contention in the Balon D or and team of the year. Alongside with Wanner who had 11 goals and 20 Assists! We managed to finish in 2nd place only losing to 1st by 5 points to RB Leipzig. And manage to beat Bayern Leverkusen in the Pokal to win our first trophy in my career.

6th Season: Im currently into my 6th season and havent started it yet, but im very excited since it'll be my first time in the Champions League, and now with a bigger transfer budget of $65m. My goal is to make it deep in the CL ( At least QF) . I want to push and fight for the Bundesliga, as it seems like in this save Leverkusen, Frankfurt, Bayern, and RB are in contention. Pokal would be nice to win it again but not a priority for the club at the moment.

My goal in this save is to win 4x Domestic Leagues, 2-3 CL. I want to eventually manage a big side in the Prem, but wouldnt mind joining a mid table team after this season if the opportunity is right and nothing pans out with WB

Let me know what you guys think
