Joan Mir says Honda has stopped Developing the RC213V

Moto GP

The Honda RC213V made its debut in 2012, when the series switched from 800cc to 1000cc machinery. The bike will make its final appearance at the end of the 2026 season before being replaced by the all-new RC214V for the introduction of the 850cc regulations in 2027.

Joan Mir has revealed that Honda is no longer bringing updates to the RC213V, suggesting that the manufacturer has shifted its full focus to developing its next-generation machine for the new era.

As Mir said.

"From what I see, it's also our reality. We don't have any new upgrades coming from anywhere. We have our package and we are trying to give our 150% with it."
