I want to work as MLS in the USA

I'm a f2 visa holder licing in the Us and i have a chemistry bachelor's from Egypt, i want to start a path that xould lead me to be a MLS in US and i heard about getting trained in a hospital and get the ASCP test and change my visa then but i don't know if someone had this experience could help me finding the best way to begin..
