Girls Hostels in Green City (for ITU and LSE students). My observations

So I was searching for hostels for my sister in green ciry and I wanted to share my findings with your guys. Anyone who's in the search of hostels may find it useful.

On barki road mainly hostels will be a green city or paragon city. Green city is a very small society and it is closer to ITU/LSE and it's safer. This is why I didn't check any hostels in paragon.

There are barely 5,6 privately managed (managed by house owners) hostels in green city.

And there are very few spots left. Prices are between 20 to 25k per person based on the number of beds in a room. But it's extremely rare to find 20k option.

The option I pursued is 3 seater, no fixed electricity charges as there's separate meter for each room which will be divided by 3. 25k is the rent for a single person. No security, no unnecessary rules etc. There are only two seats left in the room as per today. (July, 29). But they have other 1 room also available. So in total 2-4 seats left.

Things to be take care of:

1. Don't go for the hostel having fixed electricity charges. They charge 10k per person. And mostly the bill is never 10k per person, because in the summer vacations everyone's home.

2. Hostels will ask for security, avoid this because it's non refundable if you change any hostel or want to leave for any personal reason, they won't refund this.

3. Some hostels will make mess mandatory, which is between 7-10k a month. Its not worth it. There are so many mess options available in green city and they charge per meal. (Which is Rs. 300-500 per meal).

4. Some of the hostels will give you a long list of unnecessary rules(like curfew at 9 pm) to rob you money in the name of fine. Please avoid these hostels as they're gonna take away your freedom.

5. Wifi, gas, maid, society charges aren't that much. (2k max), so if a hostel is good but these charges aren't inclusive even in that case you should get in the hostel.
