Skyhud stealth meter issues

For context, I am very amateur to Skyrim modding, I am on the anniversary edition of the game, and I am using the Oblivion preset for Skyhud, which I downloaded through the FOMOD in Vortex. I want to change the position of the stealth meter. I have the lock setting for the stealth meter position set to 0, but changing the X and Y values doesn't move the meter. I have also tested setting the lock to 1 which didn't do anything either. On top of this, when I load into the game there is a bug, in which upon crouching for the first time after loading my save, the stealth meter will be offset up and to the left, after a second or two the stealth meter goes back to the default spot. I don't believe it's an issue with another file overriding the skyhud.txt because if I am able to change the activation button prompts amongst other things including position options of other HUD elements. I've tried reinstalling Skyhud, disabling mods that might be interfering with Skyhud, and verifying the integrity of my game files, all to no avail.

Mainly posting this because I've tried looking for others with similar issues and as stated earlier. tried some light troubleshooting, and now I don't really know what to do to fix it.
