6 weeks on TVS, 7w4d by LMP, yolk sac but no fetal pole yet. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone,

This is my first pregnancy, and I’m feeling really anxious while waiting for my follow-up scan.
According to my LMP, I’m 7 weeks and 4 days, but my transvaginal ultrasound measured around 6 weeks.

Here are my results:
hCG: 8,873
MSD: 12.22 mm
Yolk sac: Present
Fetal pole: Not seen

I also have no pregnancy symptoms at all—no nausea, sore breasts, fatigue, or spotting.

My OB wasn’t ready to make any conclusions yet. She prescribed Duphaston and asked me to come back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound.

Has anyone had a similar experience where:
there was a yolk sac but no fetal pole at around this stage,
you had little to no pregnancy symptoms,
and everything turned out okay at the follow-up scan?

Or, if your experience was different, I’d appreciate hearing that too. I’m trying to prepare myself while staying hopeful.
