Raffine and Leader

I have Leader, Supreme Genius on Board and Raffine, Scheeming Seer and 2 more creatures. I enter combat and resolve Leader's Beginning of Combat Trigger. I then attack with all creatures and want to have Raffine Connive 4 (X=4). Does this interfere with Leader's first ability? Do I connive for 4 or for 1?
