Bike won’t run with clutch fully released but will when riding the clutch

I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 800 05, I’m currently on the side of the road writing this. I recently dropped the bike in a patch of tall grass, it was at low speeds and I wasn’t hurt. When riding back home I was shifting to 3rd and suddenly the engine stopped pushing any power. Wasn’t stalling, or making any noises, just simply idleing even when I pulled the throttle, in neutral the bike has no issues and with the clutched fully pulled in it has not issues but if I fully release it just acts like I have clutch in at a stop light. Please help
