How realistic is it for a foreign banker with B2 German to find a job in Vienna

Hi everyone, I am an Indian diplomat and I will be posted to Vienna in June 2027 for around 3.5 years. My wife works in a bank in India and has around 4.5 years of experience as a mid level banking professional. She is seriously considering resigning from her current job and moving with me to Vienna.

She is planning to learn German before we move. The target is to reach B1 or B2 level by the time we arrive. She is hardworking and i think she can manage it if she starts now.

My question is, after we move to Vienna, what are her realistic chances of finding a job in banking or finance there. It does not have to be a high paying job at all. She just wants to work and stay professionally active during our stay. We will be there for 3.5 years and after that we will likely move to another country depending on my next posting.

Has anyone seen people in similar situations find work in Vienna. Any honest advice would really help us plan better. Thank you.
