How do you keep your focus?

currently im in corporate world and trying to build a small business. Whenever I sit with my project, i dont know where to start. No mentors and no guides. Then nothing is done.

Pls share how you keep your progress and get sales.
How do you keep focused knowing you have some personal issues, problems, growth to do also.. and external things like family and friends who will need your time also.
