Knitting Circles in LA??

Hello! I'll be new to LA and am a young professional. In my free time, I love to knit! I'm wondering if there are any knitting circles in the area that are still active. I think there was a thread on r/LosAngeles but everything mentioned is now inactive or defunct. I'm also open to any yarn store recommendations, but specifically ones that have some kind of workshop or meetup every so often (and this might be a shot in the dark, but one that young people go to as well... hehe). Similarly, I love art and crafting so any space where creatives can meet up is something I'm definitely interested in. Especially clothing design and construction. Ideally West LA for all the above.
