How'd you figure out you where Ace?

Hey, idk really know where else I'd ask this, but I'm 19. I've been identifying as bisexual for the longest time, since middle school really. But as I've seen more content from Ace people talking about Aesexuality I've become a bit confused? I guess the word for it is. How did y'all figure you're Ace?

I chose bisexual in middle school because I was fine with dating any gender, but I've come to separate dating from attraction really and kinda realized I've never just had that look at someone and feel something? I always figured finding someone hot was just finding them aesthetically pleasing but my straight friends have corrected me on that. Idk, if this post is inappropriate for this sub I'll remove it, just let me know.
