What functions would you give to a human agent in an economic simulation with a population of 100 000 people?
I'm working on a serious economic simulation and have already decided to give my human agents event memory, ideology, education, risk, and many other parameters. From time to time, goals are calculated, such as getting married, buying a house, becoming a politician, etc.
Now I'm writing functions that should create events. In general, the agent's thinking process should be done through functions, I believe.
The most basic function, for example, is "I don't own a home." Find a place to live, that is, rent one. It's possible to write more complex functions, such as "buy an asset." If the goal is to buy a house, the agent will go to the real estate market and look at prices.
Overall, I'm working on a deep economic simulation and would like to hear your opinion: what functions should I write for my agents first?
