You need to have a active Microsoft account in order to play splitscreen.

So I was excited to play halo with my son today only to find out we have to jump through a bunch of hoops and had to set up a whole Xbox account for a 7 years old to play halo with me.. This game doesn't even have online gameplay.

What ever happened to just press A to join the game... it's really infuriating my son was left waiting all day til l we figured it out... WTF

Glad I didint pay for it and just waited for the gamepass
