I keep changing therapists because of various circumstances outside my control, and I'm tired of it

TW: Anxiety / Depression

I realized a few months back that I needed to start therapy again. Life hasn't been easy, and though my mental health has been great in all other aspects, anxiety has been a massive issue, and I also need certain issues monitored by a therapist to be able to receive treatment for them. I signed on with a therapy corporation that I used to attend sessions with at a local branch as a young adult some years ago, and so began my therapy around March this year.

My first therapist was incredible. We got along super well, they were chill, and we loved a lot of the same stuff. They helped me greatly, and just as we'd established a good rapport with one another, by June, they received notice that the corporation was going to lay off every part-time therapist, and that included mine. They told me they'd be searching for someone else within the practice to take me on.

Early this month, my therapist and I parted ways. Anxiously, I waited for the promised call from another therapist to take me on. I did receive one, and I filled out the new therapist's forms, which took a massive toll on me to do because of what all I had to include in them. Last week, I had my first meeting with the new therapist, and we clicked relatively well during the intake session! I was excited to start with them!

Today I received a text from my new therapist that they're unable to continue sessions, and their information is no longer on the practice's website. Super vague explanation provided for why they're leaving, and all they said was to call the office to schedule with somebody else.

I was devastated. I know it's not my place to be asking questions, but at this point I feel like I need some answers. Considering the first was laid off suddenly, and I have no idea what happened to the second, and the location has only 4 therapists left now, I'm scared to take a gamble and try for somebody else in the location, or see if I can, maybe, sign on at a different location for better luck.

I wanted to send an email to the overall corporation, or give them a call, but they have absolutely no contact info for the corporation itself, only for the individual practice offices. I'm going to call mine tomorrow, but I truly fear that, if I sign on with a third in the same location or even in another with this organization, they'll have to leave or be laid off within the next couple of weeks, too. Until I call, I have no idea if they're going to close the location I visit, or if they'll keep it open, but I doubt they'd tell me if they're planning to close because I'm just a client, not an employee, and even employees receive such short notice, it seems.

This is a massive issue. I hope, as a therapy corporation, they'll realize this is an unacceptable way to treat their patients, and that making a patient switch through so many therapists within less than 6 months is absolutely not ok.

Especially considering I need a record of my mental health for various issues to be taken care of properly by law, I can't get those issues taken care of at all until I have a consistent therapist who can, within regulation, provide the letters and documented therapeutic notes for my treatments as needed. These treatments are DESPERATELY needed! And if I haven't even been with 1 therapist long enough to, by law, pass the threshold to provide the necessary notes and write letters, then this is bullshit, and I am honestly working toward little to nothing.
