Am I wrong for getting mad over a prank?

So I (19F) lived at dorm with 4 girls. The dorm has two rooms, 8 person each. **TL;DR; : Two months ago, a random girl called me in the middle of the night and said she likes me when she saw me at school **. She didn't tell me who she is but her confession sounded like a joke , it wasn't serious at all. But my strict mom was beside me and I was scared she'd scold me if she knows that girl was confessing to me.

Through phone number, I got the girl's picture and asked one of my ex roomate, who I trusted the most. She said the girl is from school. But today, I found the girl's TikTok account and saw she has a boyfriend. I texted my ex roomate again, saying I will post them on school confession account for pranking me. I said that not seriously but she suddenly called me and confessed that was her and the girls in the room I lived in. All 8 of them.

They were playing games and made fun of me, all 8 of them. I know this is 80% prank but I never thought it was from them. What I hate the most is how they would be sitting together and laughing at my face while I responded to that girl. They were making fun of me.

But I'm conflicted whether my anger is overreacting or is it valid?
