Complete beginner looking into investing. 18 yo

Lost 800 dollars on bets and casino after being up 1k and now I want to invest lol. I have 7 grand in my account and 1.5 in a savings. No clue what to do with anything. Looked a bit into this and it seems like it’s the best option. Whats the best way to get into this.
