Venlafaxine/ Effexor & Vyvanse/ methylphenidate

Hi, I'm UK based and am on 225 Venlafaxine (been on that for 10 years). I have been titrating with Vyvanse, currently on 50mg. Am coming off Vyvanse as I think it's causing norepinephrine overload - I've had an increase in anxiety, racing thoughts, scattered mind etc which has made it impossible to work, constantly walking around on hyper alert.

These are things which I needed ADHD meds to help, as well as focus & concentration (although it works ok on those). Both haven't dealt with binge eating at all which is what I needed help with - even started taking a GLP1 (wegovy, 1.5mg pills) - still hasn't helped the constant food noise.

Am going to chat to my psych/prescriber about Methlphenidate. I've read that Buproprion might be better but I don't want to come off Venlafaxine in case my Pure OCD kicks in. Has anyone had a similar experience? Did Venlafaxine and Methlphenidate work better for you? What about Venlafaxine and Buproprion?
