Is piercing still worth it?

So with my current stats a +10 Corrupted Blader Greatsword would have 493 physical attack and 19 piercing whereas a +10 Blader Greatsword would have 552 physical attack so my question is does piercing still make the Corrupted Blader Greatsword the superior weapon or would the physical attack difference b 2 much for piercing 2 out perform
