Is it worth buying a 2008 FJ Cruiser that needs some body work?
Found a 2008 FJ Cruiser and I'm considering it, but it needs some body/paint work. Mechanically it seems fine otherwise. For anyone who's owned one — is body work on these usually cheap/easy to sort out, or does it tend to hide worse stuff underneath (rust, frame issues, the known fender-apron crack)? Would appreciate any red flags to check for before I commit. Thanks!
