Is it safe to delete the 19 GB ota-artifacts folder inside the NVIDIA Update Framework directory?

Does deleting the ota-artifacts folder inside C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA app\UpdateFramework\ cause any system instability, considering it has grown to 19 GB? I googled and a reddit thread said it was safe to, but i'd like more input.
