I’m travelling abroad for the first time since the new border checks came in. How bad are the queues?

Going to Germany at the weekend and had the following from Ryanair.

>From 10 April 2026, the EU’s Entry/Exit System (EES) is in place at all Schengen Area external borders. As a result, passport control may take longer for some passengers.

I just want to be in the pub not in a queue for my fingerprints.
