My placement season is about to start and now I'm questioning whether I even want a job
For the longest time my plan was simple. Crack placements, work for 2 to 3 years, then think about a master's. But placement season is just around the corner and suddenly everyone is talking about packages, companies and joining dates like this is the only path that exists. Meanwhile I'm wondering if I should just skip all of that and apply abroad instead. I had spoken to Leverage Edu a few months back just to understand what the application process looked like. At that time I wasn't serious, but now that placements are actually here, I'm rethinking everything. They explained that a lot of students apply during final year itself instead of waiting, which I genuinely didn't know.Did anyone here skip placements completely and go abroad? Or is it smarter to get some work experience first just in case things don't work out?
