He was my home tutor and he still tries to contact after years . What should I do ?

I can't share this to my family . He already has a girlfriend but it seems he's being nostalgic and reminiscent about our past years . Is this normal even ? I hate him to the core I've already told him that but he doesn't accept that I'm over him perhaps he is in denial . Someone help me
