The weirdwst fucking thing when I close my eyes

I've heard about phosphenes, visual snow and other odd visual stuff, but whatever is happening really disturbs me. Almost every time I close my eyes, especially when I try to sleep, the darkness within my head is not completely dark, it swirls, flashes, stars and lighting on the border of my vision, when it started it was really nice and peaceful actually and just focusing on that helped me fall asleep, its the same with every dark surface and shadow, similar to how shadows looked in serial experiments Lain, if you watched it.

(THIS IS NOT SOME CREEPYPASTA PROMPT I PROMISE) Lately when I close my eyes for long enough I become terrified of something that is with me in that darkess, sometimes i see it when i try to stop focusing on a specific vision in my head. This is so silly but the last two nights were pretty bad, I just dont feel alone in my head and I cant escape my own eyelids. I dont know how serious this is but it is pretty scary and i think interesting from the outside view lol
