Parag parikh flexi cap fund

Beginner and learning about mutual funds and stocks . Before i thought along with other midcap and smallcap fund parag parikh is the best as to invest the major portion of my investment like 60 percent everywhere everyone are suggesting parag parikh but recently im seeing people telling it doesnt have much growth for new investors and to avoid . Second i was considering was hdfc flexicap fund even that is doubtful now what is you guys opinion about parag parikh or any other fund which is ideal to replace that im looking for a 10 year horizon
