Front load washer with powder? And do I modify the liquid I have?
I'm new to this forum and terrified of messing up my clothes anymore than I already have. It seems that it's okay to use a front load washer, is that true? If so, do I mix with water first or does it go directly into the drum?
Like many have said, I grew up on powder and fell for the marketing gimmick. I've always liked it to powder better, but I remember a time when my favorite rowel had bleached spots on it and And I convinced myself it was from the powder. Not sure if that's true, but I'm willing to go back to powder after reading this subreddit!l :)
My questions are:
Best way to use tide powder - the dye free version - in my front loader?
My husband is a terrible laundry person so I need something simple for him too.
I currently have a container of liquid tide free and gentle and I feel like it is better than the other liquids I've used but not sure if I need to modify it at all.
Lastly, any specific recommendations for sheets and blankets. I have a lovely adorable rescue pup who has decided our bed is her bed. She sheds a lot and I'm allergic so anything to help remove allergens and hair would be helpful. I'm hoping the tide powder is what I need... In case it matters, bedding is cotton blankets and percal with some microfiber sheets.
Thank you in advance. I'm excited for cleaner laundry! (20 year old me would never had said that but 49 year old me is pumped about doing laundry w powder!)
