Constantly fighting

I care for my parents that are both on disability. Technically I should be on it as well, but I'm still going through the lengthy process.

Over a week ago, I said something my mom didn't like, it was said about me and nobody else. So I apologized, like I always end up having to do.

She's still ignoring me. So advice please, should I try talking to her again even though whenever I try she pulls her blankets over her head like a toddler, do I jump on the silent treatment band wagon and just refuse to busty ass helping them, cleaning the whole house, doing their laundry
