S24 - Recording video with audio from usbc

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble getting audio from an external device via a USB-C connection. I'm a musician and I'd like to film some performances while recording the sound I'm playing directly into the video, but I can't get the audio input to work. However, when I do the reverse—outputting audio from the phone via the USB port—it works fine. Does anyone have any ideas?
