Anyone Fishing Sound with Old Town Sportsman 106?
Good morning everyone,
I am about to pull the trigger on Old Town Sportsman 106 PDL. This will be my first ever kayak. Never owned a boat either.
My main goal would be
- Drop/pickup crab trap
- Inshore fishing for some bottom fish
- Lake/River fishing
- Possibly troll for salmon in the sound
I also have a kid that I'd like to bring along if possible.
I know 106 is probably not the most ideal size for Sound but that's what works for my garage size and my truck bed (Tacoma 5.5ft bed)
Will Old Town Sportsman 106 PDL meet most of my demand?
