Very new Tidal user and i found a bug probably - Last.fm only scrobbles the last track / manual track changes?

Question

Has anyone else experienced this recently?

I'm using the official TIDAL ↔ Last.fm integration on Windows (desktop app 2.43.0.20) and the web player. The behavior is identical in both.

Here's what I've tested:

  • ✅ Last.fm authorization is working.
  • ✅ "Now Playing" updates correctly.
  • ✅ If I play a single track and playback stops afterwards, it scrobbles correctly.
  • ✅ If I manually click another track after listening to more than 50% of the current one, the previous track gets scrobbled.
  • ❌ If Track A finishes naturally and Track B starts automatically (album, queue, playlist), Track A is never scrobbled.
  • ✅ The last track of an album/queue does scrobble, because playback stops afterwards.

I've already tried:

  • disconnecting/reconnecting Last.fm,
  • revoking and reauthorizing access,
  • web player + desktop app,
  • Firefox + Chrome,
  • disabling Autoplay,
  • no Shuffle.

The issue seems to happen only when playback continues automatically to the next track.

Is anyone else seeing the same behavior? It almost looks like TIDAL only submits scrobbles when playback ends or when I manually change tracks, but not during automatic track transitions.

Anyone can help please?
