Does anyone have this issue with Kiwi Ears AD1?

So my Kiwi Ears AD1 just arrived (my first DAC), and after I'm done unboxing it I tried it right away. I used Tangzu HE CWJ's stock cable (with mic). But when I plugged it in, the sounds only came out of the left driver. So then I tried to push it harder, and it finally worked, the sounds came out alright and it feels like I just fixed the problem... well that's what I thought because the second I took my hand off it's back to sound only coming out of the left driver. I tried plugging it in and out many times but to no avail it didn't work. I thought to myself, maybe this DAC doesn't support cable with mic. So the next day, I borrowed my friend's Kinera Wyvern cable that has no mic (yes I don't have any non-mic cable) and then I tried using it with said DAC. The sound came out of both drivers, but I can tell that it definitely didn't plug properly since the sound was damp(?), narrow, and wasn't as good/powerful as when I pushed my CWJ cable hard into the port. At this point I'm guessing it's probably manufacturing issue and there is a slim to no chance of fixing it. But if there is, please tell me.
