Pixel 9 Pro vs 10 Pro vs 11 Pro: Is the leap in real-time video processing actually legit?
I'm looking into upgrading to one of the compact Pro models and ran into a breakdown on how video processing has evolved between generations.
Supposedly the Pixel 9 Pro relies heavily on the cloud for night video with Video Boost taking hours, plus a grainy preview. The Pixel 10 Pro uses a hybrid setup with basic video processed locally and a better preview. And the Pixel 11 Pro claims to finally do all that heavy night processing locally in real time with an accurate preview.
For those running the Pixel 10 Pro, did you notice a real jump in video processing over the 9 Pro, or are you still waiting on the cloud for Video Boost most of the time? Is the live preview while recording actually accurate now? Also do you think the 11 Pro will finally pull off full local processing without needing the cloud at all?
Appreciate any feedback!
