Everyone on this sub is very well aware of how shit the h ostel WIFI is, most of the seniors advised to use mobile data. Let me show you the situation,

The first image is from this afternoon, the hostel wifi which is capped at 10mbps is running at 0.04-0.30mbps, let that sink in. This is not even enough to run lectures smoothly, VTOP (The University's own damn website) is difficult to open. Gaming and all is out of the window

The second image is of my Mobile data(VI 5G unlimited plan) . Now that also is not working! . People might say that "Your service provider is not established enough or good enough". VI is the 3rd biggest company in this sector in India and it works very well in so many places.

And this is not just about the internet, even the calling is bad. My mother tried to call me 4 times, but couldn't connect. Finally when the call connected, it was again cut in between multiple times

During the orientation program, We were informed that this campus is 'fully equipped with wifi' . Here is the proof of how well equipped the campus is! Some of the Profs told us that the management sees what all the students post on platforms like reddit and try to find out who all are criticising the University, This time I want them to see this post.

This needs to be resolved!
