Android user of 12+ years considering switching to iPhone. Convince me one way or the other.

I've been on Samsung/Android for over 12 years, so switching ecosystems would be a pretty big change for me. I'm genuinely on the fence and I'd love to hear arguments from both sides especially from people who have switched either direction.

Here are my reasons for considering an iPhone:

Photography and video are a huge priority for me. I have a young daughter and I want the best camera possible to capture her childhood.

I draw and create digital art, and I have never used but I like the Apple ecosystem with the iPad and Apple Pencil. It seems like it would integrate better if I eventually get an iPad.

AirDrop seems incredibly convenient for transferring photos and files.

I'm looking for a bit of a "fresh start." I've accumulated years of apps, games, and clutter on Android, and starting over actually sounds appealing.

I like the long software support Apple provides.

I hike and spend time outdoors, so reliability, battery life, and camera performance matter a lot.

My hesitations:

I've never owned an iPhone before, so I'm worried about the learning curve.

I know Apple is a more closed ecosystem, and I'm used to Android's customization.

I'm invested in Samsung habits after so many years.

The price is obviously a consideration.

For people who've switched from Samsung to iPhone (or vice versa):

What did you miss the most?

What surprised you?

Was it worth it?

If you could go back, would you make the same choice?

I'm not looking for an Apple vs. Android flame war I genuinely want to hear real experiences from both sides before I spend this kind of money.
