Never liked this guy didn’t find him funny before any of this and the Instagram apology didn’t do much for me either. Anyway I’m doing MBBS in Tbilisi. My friend’s a proper fan, she had booked tickets months back, before all of the biryani controversy happened, it was non refundable and we get like two shows a year here so I went, sat there, was fully prepared to be bored

First half was good Nothing special

Then he stopped, actually stopped, put the mic down for a second. I started recording because I was 100% sure this was the “you guys misunderstood the joke” part and talk about making tiny revolutions and he’s still alive

It wasn’t, he actually said sorry and thanked people for trusting him and still coming from the show Then he also apologised for promoting the toxic mindset. I don’t have that part recorded since, it wasn’t allowed and I did it sneakily.

During this he actually looked like he meant it. I could be wrong, I was fairly far back and people have fooled me before, but that’s how it came across in the room.

anyway thirty seconds doesn’t undo years of him being like that. everyone in that room clapped like he’d done something huge and he’d just… apologised. that’s the floor. I’m not suddenly a fan, I still think a lot of his stuff is bad. But I’ve watched enough of these guys weasel out of things that hearing someone just… not, was strange.
