Any good d&d online games with active players?

Tbh I have 0 knowledge about the franchise and the games and how they work, but I just love the idea of a role playing board games, and I don't think I will find someone to play with me if I bought or made a version of the game 😅.

So I was wondering if there are any good online games that I can play or a good offline version with good AI opponents.

I just love board and card games.

Also if there are some good physical versions of d&d that I can play with friends that have simple rules or even complex ones that can be explained easily and does not require long preparations, in that case I can buy it and convince my friends to play it with me I think 😅.

Tysm!
