Gem 777 candidate should i even consider cat

btech cse 25 graduate no job inhand was thinking giving ibps sbi clerk exams to begin with and get workex and then giving cat.

is it doable or should i just prepare with better gov exams like ibps sbi po so ,ssc cgl?
