Mech 1st year looking for friends

Anyone that's taking mech/mech-related branches looking to make some friends before the course starts? I'm an aspiring core engineer (not going to get into software/finance at least) and that's somewhat rare for mech students in this country, I'm looking to make friends with people that are looking to actually work in the field they're studying for.

I would also appreciate any seniors that reach out.
