Prodromal symptoms on valtrex ?

Just curious if anyone else on this sub experiences prodromal symptoms while taking valtrex. I will never get an outbreak but will constantly have skin tingling and soreness. I was prescribed 500mgs twice a day bc I’m pregnant and it’s being used as suppressive therapy until birth. If i cut down to 500mg once a day the symptoms go away. It’s so frustrating.
