(It's the off-season, so time for me to play with ideas for Jet Lag games that for one reason or another would never work. Probably.)

Three players, taking turns as Hider and Seekers.... you know the game. They land at a site on the Near Side of the Moon – to maintain communications with Earth – and the Hider has an hour to get to their hiding spot. The horizon is only a couple miles away, and the terrain isn't as flat as you might think, so this is will be more interesting than H+S on the Uyuni salt flat in Bolivia ([a previous Not Lag game](https://www.reddit.com/r/JetLagTheGame/comments/1ndfszl/not_lag_the_impossible_games_hideseek_salar_de/)).

Seeker questions include: Send a photo of the tallest mountain/largest crater visible from your location. Send a selfie with Earth in the frame. Are you on the same type of terrain (highland, mare, crater) as us? Are you nearer to an Apollo landing site than we are? (Note: All Apollo sites are off-limits, for historic preservation.) How many days until sunset at your location?

Hider curses include: The Leaky Suit (roll a die, and release that percentage of your remaining oxygen), Apollo 13 (both Seekers power down their suits, wait 5 minutes, then power back up), Mooni-Golf (go find one of Alan Shepard's golf balls), Play Catch (from a distance of at least 10 feet, toss a rock back and forth five times without dropping it).

All but the longest space/moonwalks have been under 8 hours, so each Hider gets a run of up to 6 hours, after which all three players return to their landing craft for an 18-hour rest period before the next day's run. Each Hider gets a single run. If there's a tie, the player who successfully hid *closer* to the lander wins.

*Despite being suggested by Ben in a recent episode of The Layover, there are a few technical challenges with this game. The first is that the only entities capable of getting the players to the game area are NASA (in bed with the Sam's nemesis the military industrial complex), rival nation-states, and highly problematic billionaires. Not even Nebula's deep pockets could afford the fuel costs. Thanks to the Outer Space Treaty of 1967, no visas are needed, but there may be other obstacles I haven't thought of.*
