Temporary Tag Expiring in 3 Days ?!?!

Carvana has been refusing to extend my temporary tag. I purchased a car from them on 6/17. My home state told me that they did. Not receive the title for this vehicle until 7/15. Didn’t get any updates until 7/22 (asking me to resubmit my auto insurance, to which I did as soon as I got the notification). Now here it is 7/29 and still no plates or registration BUT they’re still denying me an extension on this temporary tag. Is this normal???
