pls Supercell, just get rid of the mining task in the derby !!

I have been playing since I was a teen (28 now!) however I stopped playing when the newspaper started filling up with ore. Anyways came back after a 6 month ish break during the recent event where you had to make loads of bars of metal for rewards. I was like omg the newspaper is fixed, we’re so back!

Fast forward to yesterday…. It’s so frustrating. I love this game but the devs need to find a solution as it’s just ruining the game. Surely the easiest thing is to just remove the task that has people mining constantly in the derby. I get that it’s basically free points but it then just messes up the rest of the game.

I haven’t been keeping tabs while I was on hiatus but has Supercell ever even addressed the problem?
